東芝社長、辞任会見 - Toshiba president and resignation interview -
昨日、２時間にも及ぶ、東芝の社長辞任会見が行われました。
（A president resignation interview of Toshiba which also reached 2 hours yesterday was performed.）
見た人も多いのではないでしょうか？

見た人は、何か違和感を感じませんでしたか？

田中氏が即日辞任することは意外でした。
（It was unexpected that Mr. Tanaka resigns on the same day.）
９月の株主総会までは継続すると思っていましたので。

しかし、東芝社員へのけじめとして即日辞任することを決意したそうです。

辞任することで気が楽になったのか、会見では余裕とも見れる質疑応答でした。

記者たちの一番の関心は、社長が不正会計の指示を認めるか認めないかではなかったでしょうか？
（Wasn't the interest by which reporters are most whether it wasn't admitted whether a president admitted directions of accounting fraud?）
何度となく、記者から同じ質問をされていましたが、田中氏は「指示していない」の一点張りでした。
（You were doing the same question from a reporter time and again, but it was the persistence Mr. Tanaka "isn't indicating".）
これはあくまでも、経営陣からの利益増額チャレンジを、部下であるコーポレート社長を始めとする財務、会計部門が勝手に解釈して、不正を行ったことだとする、社内の不手際であり、組織だった不正行為ではないと言っているように聞こえました。
（I heard as if saying that this was a mistake in the inside of the company where we assume to the end, that a profit increase challenge from executive officers was the case that finance and a bill category such as the corporate president who is a subordinate interpreted and did injustice selfishly, not the iniquity which was organization.）
しかし、第三者委員会の報告書によると、経営陣から指示があったと記載されている証拠が記載されていたと思います。

このギャップは何でしょうか？

田中氏が現時点で不正を指示したと認めれば、逮捕に繋がると考えて、「指示をしていない」と回答していたのでしょうか？

すぐにボロが出そうな感じですね。

質疑応答中も、質問する記者を睨み付けるような目で見ているように感じましたが、きっとどのマスコミの誰がどんな質問をしたのか、メモしていたのでしょう。

そして、今後のスポンサー契約に反映させるのでしょうか？

報告書を受け取った翌日ですから、まだすべてを精査できていないのかも知れませんが、張本人は事実を知っている訳ですよね？

現経営陣の処分は今月下旬にも決まるそうです。
