先日の台風は凄かった！！ （The other day of the typhoon was amazing! !）
久しぶりに台風で怖い思いをしました。
（Was a scary thought in a typhoon for the first time in a long time.）
台風9号です。
（It is typhoon No. 9.）
ことしは台風が少ないと言われていましたが、一気に来ました！！

台風9号、10号、11号。

トリプル台風と言われて一気に3個も来ました。

特に台風9号は関東直撃。

記録的な豪雨となりました。

停電、土砂崩れ、河川の氾濫。

朝から雨が強かったので、早めに買い物に行きました。

ところで、台風には名前が3種類あります。

台風とサイクロンとハリケーンです。

違いは発生した場所と強さです。

＜台風＞（<Typhoon>）
北太平洋の西部で発生したもの。
（Those that occurred in the North Pacific Ocean in the west.）
＜サイクロン＞（<Cyclone>）
北インド洋と南太平洋の熱帯低気圧のうち、最大風速が17.2m/s以上のもの。

＜ハリケーン＞（<Hurricane>）
北大西洋と北東太平洋の熱帯低気圧のうち、最大風速が32.7m/s以上のもの。

台風が発生した場所から長距離移動をすると、名前が変わります。
（With the long-range transport from the location where the typhoon has occurred, the name will change.）
これを越境台風と呼びます。
