まぼろしの人（Person of illusion）

陽炎揺れる名もない駅に
（At the station where I also have no names by which heat devil shakes.）
遠い汽笛のゆらめきが
（Flickering of a far whistle.）
かすかな余韻を残す頃
（When a faint lingering tone is left.）
見上げた空には静けさが満ちていた
（The quiet was filled in the honored sky.）
なのにこの同じ空の下 暗い思いでの残り火を
（An ember by the thought that this same empty bottom is dark though it's so.）
吹き消すようにみじろいだ
（It's an agony so that it may be blown out.）
あの人は幻だったのでしょうか
（Was that person illusion?）

たわむれ遊ぶ童のほほに
（In a cheek of the child who plays and plays.）
沈む夕陽の輝きが
（A blaze of the sunset in which I sink.）
優しい翳りを映す頃
（When gentle dimming is reflected.）
くれなずむ街にはやすらぎが満ちていた
（A relief was filled in the town where the sun is setting.）
なのにこの同じ空の下 辛い出来事の結末を
（Though it's so, this same empty bottom is an ending of a hard affair.）
呟くようにささやいた
（I whispered to murmur.）
あの人は幻だったのでしょうか
（Was that person illusion?）
