７月２４日は「土用の丑の日」。

食べましたか？

うなぎ。
（Eel.）
我が家では、毎年必ず食べています。
（I'm eating certainly every year at my home.）
貧乏なのに。
（I'm poor.）
今年は鹿児島県産のうなぎを食べました。
（Eel made in Kagoshima-ken was eaten this year.）
貰い物ですが。
（It's a present.）

肉厚で柔らかくて、とてもおいしかったです。
（It was fleshy, soft and very good.）
さて、なぜこんな古い話をいまさらしているのかと言うと、今年の夏は「土用の丑の日」がもう１回あります。

それは、８月５日です。
（That's August 5.）
うなぎ屋さんも、大忙しですね。

ところで、「土用の丑の日」は、夏に限ったことではありません。

春夏秋冬、すべてにあります。

五行説（木、火、土、金、水）の土はすべての季節にありますので、立春、立夏、立秋、立冬の中の丑の日が該当します。
（There is earth of Five elements theory(wood, the fire, dirt, gold and water) all seasons, so a day of a cow during the first day of the spring, the first day of the summer, the first day of the autumn and the first day of the winter is relevant.）
